| 06-Bobbio | Kneena, Kneena, Kneena.....this is fine. You
had me at the line "where are you now?".....from there the song
takes off....lyrically it's pretty abstract...I read it over and over
and still couldn't grasp the relationship...the line "And are you
melting my words away Then you will feel your heart begin to stay with all my love" stumps me.....that being said.....It's great work...I'll just have to live with the fact that I'm dense...lol....because the performance was wonderful...I've told you before that you have "star quality' and this is more proof of that. Your phrasing and those subtle vocal surprises help to carry this song... Maybe the song isn't as good as the performance...but, it sure didn't feel that way...feels like a great song... |

| 07-Jens | Good melody, singing, production, playing. Your voice has a lot of expression; you know that! You surely have potential. A new Carole King with your own style. Amazing what someone can do with just a piano (or guitar etc.). I can spend days on a songs 8 miditracks and the result is still only a rather poor demo... :-( If you should improve something, I would like more dynamics/expression added. If the song had a part (fx the middle part) where you played louder and particulary sang louder, the song would benefit from that - it would also emphasize the more quiet parts of the song. I'm not sure if it is suited for this particular song, and I don't know if you do sing out loud at all. I have heard your two other songs at AcidPlanet, and the same goes for them. You should have at full symphony orchestra to back you up! A minor thing: I found the ending a little abrupt. What about slowing down in the ending and spread the notes in the very last chord? |

| 04-Markus | Beautiful lyrics sung with a beautiful voice! Hey that is a wonderful song! Lyrics and music go together so very well. Maybe the ending rushes in a little surprisingly (so if some bars are missing). But beside this, this is my absolute favorite song. Thank you for sharing it! | |

Litening to this brought back the emotions I felt when I wrote Dragonfly except lyrically this song is so much better & more touching I think with it's references to daily observations that are present when someone you love is no longer there. My eyes started to tear a little!!! Musically it's perfect I'd say. The melody & changes perfectly emphasizing the emotion of the lyrics...and that VOICE! Very good production as well. I love listening to kneena,just to remind myself that you can be really good and still be obscure.It kinda' keeps my hopes up! tens across the boards.simple,picturesque lyrics,barebones flawless performance,great music. Kneena is a big fan of the descending bass note through the diatonic sequence of the respective key,starting from the root.Elton John,David Bowie,Marc Bolan,Piggy,and many others have made careers of this simple,beautiful and timeless move. Vocals are A1.If I wasn't such a pig,I'd probably cry. Kneena RULES. piggy |
