Good and solid song. Very streight
forward. I really love the verse's theme. It is really strong in both,
melody and harmonies. For me, the refrain couldn't hold exactly what the
verse was promissing. Maybe you could have left out one bar between verse
and refrain. But that's just what I think...
Thanks for sharing your heart lyrics with us! |

I am listening to your songs now for a couple of month, and I can notice
that your recording quality has become so much better and clearer. It
is really possible to get an imagination of you performing and singing
live! I could listen to your bewitching singing for several hours! |

Very strong song! Good production
and very creative instrumentation! I think this could be a Harrison song :) I wonder if anyone noticed that you use only 3 chords for the whole song (o.k. the last chord of the refrain is the 4th chord :-). Great, how tricky you work with a minimum of harmonies! Lyrics are not to too poetic, but they seem to match perfectly for this song. And they are telling somthing!!! Great job! |

Hey, a kind of U2-like effect-guitar
sound and chord progression :) Solid song with solid performance (vocals
and instruments). But in some places the lyrics seem to be unaturally pressed into the melodic line. Overall: good stuff! |

Wow, I love your voice! Very beautiful
lyrics though their rhythm does not always perfectly match into the melody's
rhythm. The bass is a little bit to loud and masks some of the other instruments
sometimes. But maybe this only goes only for the lo-fi version I was listening
to. Beautiful love song, great voical performance |

The overall mood is good and the guitars and
the mandolin (or is it a 12 atring?) and your voice sound beautiful. But
something is going wrong with the timing. When the vocals come in, I am
not able to follow the metrum anymore and I cannot count quarter notes.
Mabye inaccurcies happened during the recording session? Or did you through
some 3/4 or 5/4 bars into it? Maybe the melody line doesn't fit into the
rhyhtmic sceme. I am totally confused :-) You should check this out. The song might be beautiful! And the lyrics are beatiful, too. Mabye they need to be matched into the song's rhythm. |

Was this Dylan singing and playing?
:) I like the lyrics, they seem to be both, serious and ironical. In the
refrain, the C major7 chord seems to be a little out of place. Without
extension, the subdominat would be stronger (after the e-minor) and would
fit more to that kind of music. But that is just me thinking...
Good song! |

Beautiful lyrics sung with a beautiful voice! Hey that is a wonderful song! Lyrics and music go together so very well. Maybe the ending rushes in a little surprisingly (so if some bars are missing). But beside this, this is my absolute favorite song. Thank you for sharing it! |

The verse's harmonies could make
up a good song. But the melody line seems not to support them too much.
Though the melody's rhythm is good! Maybe I would think different, if
someone else would perform your song. I think I am tired now and I am
not able to imagine this demo replaced by a better one within my head.
Usually I can do this, but now after listening to all the entries... sorry.
Keep up trying, there is a lot of potential! Someone could do worse things than writing songs! Ahh!!! And I love the lyrics. Don't know if I really get them, but there are some beautiful lyrical pictures in them. I could need some coffee, too, now, which warms the cold insinde my heart... |
