02-Nancy G.
In My Room
by Brian Wilson
What a lovely interpretation! Nancy, this is really good and so very inspiring. You've made this song your own, imprinting your unique style on it. I hope it's part of your set in any gigs you do.Simply wonderful.

03-Markus
Lullaby
by Tom Waits & Kathleen Brennan

Markus, this is a great song for your repertoire. You have a very unusual singing style totally suited to this, very soothing, the way a lullaby should be. And the piano is enchanting. Superb job. I dare say that it's way nicer than Tom Waits' original version who sounds totally stoned or drunk in it (did I just commit a sacrilege?)...
04-James
I can't Get Next to You
by The Temptations
Whoeee! Back to the disco! This is so much fun! How different this is from the original which was more soul, Motown-like stuff! Good job, James.
05-Iggy
Dreamer
by Ozzie Osbourne
Iggy, this is a really fine performance. You know what? This I feel is your best style of music. I am not familiar with the original of this song, I would have never believed Ozzie Osbourne could do something as nice and soft as this. I guess I've been fooled again. Or is it you perhaps who made this song so nice now?
06-Solpig
Buona Sera
by Louis Prima
This is so very nice, Solpig! It's such a romantic serenade, I almost imagine you performing this on bended knee in front of your beloved signorina. A pity that it's so short. No matter, you've done it justice and then some. Bravissimo! I guess you are keeping the rest of it for the encore?
07-Kris S
Wonderwall
by Oasis
Kris, this is a great perfromance, extremely polished and professional in all respects. A real pleasure to listen to.
08-Tim W
Nowhere Man
by The Beatles

Did I hear right? Were those the Schmenge Brothers Live? What a hoot that intro, Tim! And what a good renditon of a great song too! Now, mind you, I couldn't tell if you sang the real lyrics right through or made a spoof on them. No matter, it sounded good from where I was sitting in the audience, still laughing after the introduction. Yes, the Mo' Betta Band's reunion was worth it.

I did a little web search on the "Schmenge" name (also on "Schmangy") and it's amazing what it turned out! I'll leave you all to figure it out! (LOL) Enough to say the Schmenge Brothers are listed on the same web page as the Beatles at www.tvacres.com/music_groups.htm! Might we add the Mo' Betta Band to this list? :-)

09-Nigel
Happier Than the Morning Sun
by Stevie Wonder
How very nice and sweet! A super performance, Nigel! Simple, neat, accompaniment that doesn't cover up your voice. Good choice.
10-EED (Emily)
Every Rose Has its Thorn
by Poison
Emily, that's a very sweet song you've picked, which I, predictably, am not familiar with! It's like a ray of sunshine. The accordeon is a nice touch. I read in your Acdiplanet profile that you've only just started to share your music. About time, I'd say! I hope you're showering your kids with all this heart-felt music. They are so lucky! And maybe one day they'll join you in playing and singing together. There couldn't be a better parent-child bonding than this. Keep it up.
11-David T
Day Tripper
by John Lennon & Paul McCartney
Wow, David! The consumate one-man band at work! Too bad you can't clone yourself! To my deaf ear, this is right on! Maybe a slightly different instrument choice for the keyboard setting might have sounded a bit clearer. Good job, David!
12-Dave C
Autumn Leaves
by Joseph Kosma & Jacques Prévert
Dave, coincidentally, as I was searching for the lyrics and a sample of the original song, I happened to be told by a friend that the chorus of this song is a standard for all serious jazz guitar students. I think you've done a great job on this.
13-Hoaby
Just A Little
by The Beau Brummels
Well, Hoaby, I've had to go back and forth between your version and the original. I (as usual, sad to say for myself) wasn't familiar with either The Beau Brummels or the song, but I have a hard time finding any differences past the intro. Are you sure you're not The Beau Brummels themselves?:-) Top-notch rendition!
14-Todd
Joker
by Steve Miller
Wow, Todd, this is awesome! It's so different from the original, yet so good! I love it! Super, great interpretation!
15-Meikow
You Won't See Me
by The Beatles
What a very pleasant surprise! A latin-sounding intro! Lovely! Rich, melodious sound! Wonderful rendition, Meikow! It's the same song and yet not! I think I actually like your version better.:-)
16-Hazelglow
Dreams of Fast Cars
by an amalgam of Tracy Chapman & Gabrielle
Trust Haze to come up with such a strange concoction! LOL! Here I was testing out the sound file and setting up the lyrics page and all. I was confidently writing "by Tracy Chapman" when the first vocals started and here I was trying to make out what exactly I was hearing. I thought I was hallucinating! Haze, this is quite a feat! I don't know the other song you blended in, but I must say it sounds like it belongs there. Or it would if I didn't know Tracy Chapman's song so well (of course, I did doubt myself for a while there, until I actually saw the lyrics and your comments). Great job! Now if only I could find the original of the other song....
