Here are Joro's own clarifications of his entry:

There are some great comments on the song I posted for the IFCF4....
However...please note...the artist/musician/composer of the song is the extremely talented Mr. Willie McCulloch.....
I am merely the lyricist on this song...

I just thought that this needed to be said....
I felt like I was accepting credit unduely...ya know?

Thanks,
Joe

This one is nowhere near my "alley"...but can't help but appreciate how well written it is....I certainly can relate to the story..not a thing about the song to really criticize...the recording could be helped by bringing those background vocals down a notch...and I guess I prefer you sing it with a more lazy approach...you seem to annunciate as if it's your second language...but...you certainly know what you're doing...very nice.

Good up-front vocals with good guitar picking. Mixed well, with good harmonies.

Your voice, to me, is like a mix of Jerry Garcia and Clint Black. That's a good thing. Excellent background harmonies with the maj7 chords. The verse and chorus flow so well, yet they each have their own distinct sound. Well done!

Everyone knows I chase sunsets. I take pictures of sunset and post them on my website. There is something so special
to me when the sun melts into the horizon..:-)

This is a very gentle and mellow song. This song touched me the most. Your vocals and total sound helped make this song complete.

Thank you for blessing me with your music,

Nancy G

Beautiful intro which reeled me right in and start listening keenly to the lyrics/singing. Nice harmonies, but perhaps a little too loud in the mix. Can't think of too much else to criticise! Good distinction between verses and choruses, melody is interesting and just unique enough but yet still has that nice familiar feeling instantly. Great performance!

Wow. I think I'll stop writing songs and just listen to yours. Beautiful guitar work, smooth vocals, great lyrics --really captures what I think most of us feel playing sometimes. Nice harmonies too. Great job!
