Another Moody Blues type song. Very sweet good vocals, love your falsetto highs, but all I could think of while listening to this is Haze standing on the bandstand staring into the eyes of the mole singing this beautiful love song |

Liked this song a lot. Sort of a get mellow, remember the good ole days of music kinda song. Vocals were off-pitch quite a number of times, and other times the vocals could have really punched up the song going up an octave |

Michael is very good at his craft; The arrangement is a classic 50’s-60’s like pop structure, but the number is produced with more modern sensibilities. Well thought out, sentimental lyric. Very much liked the horn solo. Only negative I’ll say is the energy of the song stays on the same level; there’s no big changes in dynamic that would make this tune truly memorable. |

Very nice vocal, but why so sweet? Reminds me of Weird Al’s voice, by the way. Clean singing and very much in tune. Seems like a song sang in some movie, though, not an album track. Great trumpet theme. Overall, a decent love song. The lyrics are descriptive, very consistent in their style (unlike "Pole Position", for instance) but again – I can’t find anything special, concrete, dazzling. Mention the name of the girl, tell about her admiration for golden retriever puppets or theirs – for her, do something to draw the listener’s attention to the STORY. "Music in my life" and "song in my heart" are banalities, not idioms. The phrase "that silence is the sound of you not being here" is what I’m looking for. There’s some interesting neologism at least… The only problem – Simon’s "Sound of Silence", so it might cancel out the originality, but I would look into things like that. Beautiful song! |

Sappy stuff, but sappy sells, too. The chorus is killer...the break going to the chorus is very cool... |

I LOVE your voice. God, it's pure! There are a few flat spots but it's really, really gorgeous!! As soon as the song came on I felt that the lushness of the music and the sweetness of your voice was just grand. Very talented. |
