Comment ~ Critique – Simple guitar accompaniment suits the song, which I find very emotive.

Comment ~ Comments - Lyric cliched and unoriginal but otherwise tight - pleasant guitar - melody
unexciting
- static - hook exists but does not stand out lyrically or musically - vocal up front

Comment ~ Comments: great song, great voice. First half of lyrics had too many lines with ending words
ending in "body", which got annoying after awhile. Too much string noise, switch to
round-wounds or relax your grip more when sliding. Lack of drums and other instruments was
good decision here, song sounds great as is.

Comment ~ A gentle song. Touches my heart right away. The lyrics are true. If it was my song, I would
shorten it a bit. Also I would add reverb or delay
to some of the sounds that come across dry or thin. Good job.

Comment ~ Great example for all of us how a simple arrangement and production can really sell a song’s
potential. If it’s written well, and performed well, like it is in this case. Only thing I would
suggest is if you’re going to employ a seriously over-used phrase like ‘better to have loved and
lost...’ in your lyrics you really need to follow it up with something incredibly witty or clever or
original or pun-like to compensate. Also, I found the alternating between perspectives (‘you’ vs.
‘her’ & ‘she’ ) a little confusing. A few very minor tuning issues in the singing grated on my
fussy-gussy ears as I listened. But I’m nit-picking, ‘cos basically this song is quite beautiful!

Comment ~ Critique: I loved this melody and the guitar accomapniement (despite some occasional loud
sqweaks). Great voice. Too bad the song is too short. Perhaps a re-recording is in order and
adding another minute or so? Then it might rate 9 or more.
